What do you do in the mountains?

When I first discovered the mountains, I thought it was all about my own adventures. It didn't take long to realise that the greatest reward wasn't reaching summits myself - it was helping other people discover them. That inspired me to become a mountain leader and guide. Today, my passion is creating meaningful mountain experiences that inspire confidence, curiosity and a lifelong love for the outdoors.

The moment that means the most

My first major project, 49 Peaks, changed my life. Just weeks after my wedding ended, I found myself searching for a new direction. I had recently climbed my first major mountain and came home wondering, "What's next?" Two hours later, I had decided to climb the highest mountain in every country in Europe. I had no idea where that journey would lead, but I committed to it completely.

Completing the project - and setting a new speed record along the way - was something I'm proud of, but what means even more is that it gave me the courage to leave my previous career and dedicate my life to the mountains.

What's next?

I've just begun my next long-term project, 50 Adventures, with the goal of discovering what I believe are the 50 greatest adventures across Europe. Between guiding trips, I'm exploring, filming and documenting these experiences, with the first stories launching this autumn. It's a project I hope will inspire people to dream bigger and spend more time outdoors.
